Prof Martin Biddle Lecture 21 July 2022

Prof Martin Biddle will give a lecture at 6:30pm on 21 July 2022 at the Hampshire Record Office.*

Martin’s lecture ‘Winchester’s Late Saxon connections with the Danish Royal House’ will highlight the Scandinavian presence and influence in Winchester, especially in the time of Cnut, as evidenced through the burials, finds, and architectural decoration of Old Minster.
