Digital Availability via Archaeopress
Through our partnership with our publishers, Archaeopress, we have been digitising the Winchester Studies volumes that were produced for us by Oxford University Press, and had become out of print. This is principally in order to make them available ‘Open Access’. We are very grateful for the support received from the Hampshire Archives Trust, Hedley Trust and Winchester County Council in helping to fund the process, as well as to the team for ensuring that the digital versions match the quality of the original printed volumes. As a result, many Winchester Studies volumes are now available from Archaeopress, to access digitally free of charge as downloadable PDF e-books, and are also available ‘print-on-demand’ for a fee.

This advance has opened up Winchester Studies to a worldwide audience with Lankhills (WS 3.ii) being downloaded already over 1800 times and over 600 times for the Mint (WS 8).
