We will be holding a diggers' reunion weekend from Friday 5th - Sunday 7th August 2016. Planned treats including a walking tour of Winchester with Martin, a celebration dinner overlooking the sites of the Old and New Minsters, and a reception in the Mayor of Winchester's Abbey House.
How to book

The cost of the reunion weekend is £35 per person (excluding dinner) There is a special offer price of £30 per person if you book before the 1st April 2016.
The dinner at the Wessex hotel is £40 per person. This includes a three-course meal and a welcome drink. Further details and menu options will be sent upon completion of booking.
We would like to reach out to as many of the diggers who took part in the excavations between 1961 and 1971 as possible so please get in touch if you would like to be involved or if you know others who dug in Winchester. Anyone who worked for the Research Unit will also be most welcome.
