We will be holding a diggers' reunion weekend from Friday 5th - Sunday 7th August 2016. We would like to reach out to as many as possible of the diggers who took part in the excavations between 1961 and 1971 so please get in touch if you would like to be involved or if you know others who dug in Winchester. Anyone who worked for the Winchester Research Unit will also be most welcome. Planned treats include an archaeological walking tour of Winchester with Martin, a celebration dinner overlooking sites of the Old and New Minsters, and a reception in the Mayor of Winchester's Abbey House.
